Well, This Is Easy.

I Broke My Computer I Had Unix Installed On. And Until I Can Save Up Enough Money For A New Motherbaord For Its Particulars, I Dont Have Access To Unix. I had A Shell Program With It That would Let Me Write C++ Programs.

Well, As I Am At It Again, Trying To Re-Learn It, I Kinda Need A Straight Forward Program I Can Use With 'Windows XP Professional Corporate Edition' (Fancy and Fun Way To Say WinXP Pro..)

I'm Sure Yall Gunna Laugh At Me On This One, But All I Can Remember On The Windows Half Of Things Is Visual Basics is VB ..

So.. I'm Sure This Is Easy Answer For A Long String Of Ramblings, I'd Like Any Advice. Like Whats The Best Program To Use. The Easiest And Stuff. (Something That Dont Cost A LOT.. lol..)

Thx CPC (And Ali For Tolerating my Stupidity @ Times..)

Sorry, I don't know how I missed this. After decoding your post (rolleyes.gif), I think what you're trying to ask is what programming language would be best in a Windows environment.

It really depends on the application you have in mind. It would be nice if you could start writing in Java. You can get the latest 1.5 release bundled with the SDK and NetBeans from Sun and all the API and documentation you'll ever need for absolutely nothing.

Since you're not much of a Windows person, the intuitive model of VB probably won't appeal to you.
