XP-AntiSpy is a little utility that let's you disable some built-in update and authetication 'features' in WindowsXP.
For example, there's a service running in the background wich is called 'Automatic Updates'. I don't know what this service transfers from my machine to other machines on the internet, especially the MS ones. So I play it safe and disable such functions. Please Note:
If you have problems Installing the Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) and you have XP-AntiSpy installed, try going to Special (on the menu) and click on Reset System State, click next two OK buttons and close with the cross at the top right (do not click start). You should be able to install SP1. Once SP1 is installed and system has restarted you can then re-enable XP-AntiSpy settings.
