ok, umm i have a sega cd original.gif , and the part that makes the cd spin is broken sad.gif , does anyone know if that part can be fixed laugh.gif ....or is it hopeless :'( , lol...

Have you tried calling Sega? Maybe they can fix it. If that fails you can search the web for spare parts. Just becareful though. Also, if there any technicians in your area they might be able to fix it. Give'em a call.

Just had a quick google and came across these for example so help is out there depending where you live i guess.

As said above though, it could be something simple however you could end up opening a can of worms trying to fix or find the fault if you do not know what to look for so it may be worth asking a trusted tech head localy.

I used to always have PS1's and PS2's in bits but even then it was only to tune laser/sound/cd speed 'pots' etc.I would not have much idea as to why your drive has stopped working.

Maybe simple, maybe complicated!
