The IBM WorkPad z50, from what I've heard, was only released for a limited time in a limited quantity.  I don't know why IBM decided not to go through with this handheld PC.  The computer looks amazing, borrowing most of its looks from the ThinkPad.  Portability is tops, with slots for a Type II PCMCIA card and CF card.  It also hosts a communications port, a serial port, a modem jack and two audio out/in ports.  The keyboard rivals those of better known laptop manufacturers and is a pleasure to type on.
